Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000, based on experience
The Payroll and HR Data Specialist is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processing, HR analytics and reporting, and general HR administrative tasks. This individual must possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Role and Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing (40%):
· Manage and process the company’s payroll accurately and on time.
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
· Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll discrepancies.
· Maintain payroll records and prepare necessary reports for internal and external audits.
· Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting related to payroll.
HR Analyst and Reporting Duties (30%):
· Collect, compile, and analyze HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.
· Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.
· Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve HR processes and employee satisfaction.
· Provide regular reports on employee data to senior or middle management.
Basic HR Admin Tasks (30%):
· Support day-to-day HR operations, including record maintenance for onboarding and offboarding.
· Reconcile benefit invoices on a monthly basis.
· Complete annual audits for worker's compensation, 401k, or state and federal inquiries.
· Provide reporting on trainings in our learning management system.
· Coordinate and participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.

Physical and/or Environmental Requirements:
· Ability to sit for extended periods of time (8-hour shift) in a well-lit office setting, using standard office equipment such as computer, computer mouse, keypad, printer, fax machine, etc.
· Ability to walk and navigate throughout manufacturing or production floors as needed to deliver payroll checks or other items.
· Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds unassisted.
